Hendrik-Tobias Arkenau, M.D., Ph.D., Director, Drug Development, Sarah Cannon Research UK; Associate Director, Drug Development, Sarah Cannon Research Institute
 
Dr. Arkenau has vast experience in Early Oncology Clinical Drug Development with a special interest in gastrointestinal cancer and melanoma. He received his medical degree in 2000 at the Medical School Hanover, Germany, and completed his internship and specialist training in oncology in 2007. Before joining Sarah Cannon Research UK, he was senior clinical fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital and team leader for Early Drug Development at the Prince of Wales Clinical School at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.


Samantha Kerr, Ph.D.,  Senior Director, Sarah Cannon Research UK

Dr. Kerr has extensive clinical operations experience in both the pharmaceutical and CRO industries. She embodies global program and study management expertise across a range of therapeutic areas from Phase I-IV as well as in-depth knowledge of EMA/FDA/ICH/GCP regulations and guidelines. Before joining Sarah Cannon Research UK, Dr. Kerr served as a Senior Clinical Director at Allergan Ltd., UK as the European Head of Neurology and Dermatology operations and the Global Head of Clinical Pharmacology operations. She received a bachelor's honours degree in science from the University of Strathclyde in Biochemistry and Immunology in 1994 and a PhD in Biochemical Parasitology in 1997 from the University of Glasgow, Department of Infection and Immunity.

Nicola Hodson, R.N., Clinical Services Manager, Sarah Cannon Research UK

Nicola has more than 15 years of experience in nursing and coordinating clinical trials in the United Kingdom. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury in Richmond, Australia, in 1994 and completed a post-graduate program at Mona Vale Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Before joining Leaders in Oncology Care in London as lead clinical research nurse, she was research sister/ team leader for South East London Cancer Research Network.
