Steven V. Manoukian, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.,
serves as director of cardiovascular research, Sarah Cannon Research Institute; medical director of cardiovascular services, Clinical Services Group (CSG), Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Inc; and interventional cardiologist, Centennial Heart Cardiovascular Consultants; all in Nashville, TN. Previously, he held the role of director, interventional cardiology, Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA, and faculty member, Emory University School of Medicine, for 15 years. Dr. Manoukian received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York, NY. He completed his residency and chief residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Emory University School of Medicine. He is a member of the faculty of the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), American Heart Association (AHA), American College of Cardiology (ACC), Cardiovascular Revascularization Therapies (CRT) scientific sessions, Emory Practical Intervention Course (EPIC) and numerous other national and international meetings. He is active in interventional research, particularly regarding the efficacy and safety of antithrombin and antiplatelet therapy.

R. Christopher Jones, M.D., F.A.C.C.,
is director of electrophysiology research for Sarah Cannon Research Institute and an electrophysiologist at Centennial Heart Cardiovascular Consultants. Dr. Jones received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and served as intern and resident on the Osler medical service at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He later completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Jones furthered his cardiology training by completing an electrophysiology fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, under the tutelage of Dr. Eric Prystowsky. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Diseases and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the faculity of the Heart Rhythm Society. His cardiac electrophysiology expertise includes evaluation of syncope and palpitations, medical management of arrhythmias, device implantation and follow-up, and catheter ablation of tachy-arrhythmias.
