Cardiovascular research at SCRI continues the legacy of cancer research initiated in 1993.  In 2007 we began to develop a network of hospital based clinical trial programs in collaboration with physician practices. Our comprehensive cardiovascular research program is designed to provide cutting edge, cost effective services rarely found in today’s management of clinical trials.  SCRI is setting the standard for effectively managed clinical research trials. 

Research Excellence

Since that time we have grown a network of 110 physicians at 6 hospitals in the southeastern United States.  Clinical trial offerings include investigational, drug and device studies and three ares of specalization:

  • Interventional
  • Electrophysiology
  • Cardiothoracic surgery
